Melissa arrived decked out in daytime makeup and leather after spending the day strolling around Crystal City. We readily agreed to rock out to a Metallica playlist, kicking off with “Enter Sandman.” We updated her makeup to a dramatic smokey eye and MAC’s “Sin” colored lipstick for a nighttime vibe for heading to Freddie’s Beach Bar. In addition to standard studio shots with a gray background, Missy wanted some rocker chick pics against the brick wall. We looked up ideas online and one with blue side-lighting caught her eye. After some lighting experimentation, we captured the backstage look she was going for.

Jasmine decided to play to her punk rock side today during our makeover. We listened to 2000s hard rock music and took “backstage” photos in my studio.

Giselle describes her look as “suburban housewife.” Here she pairs a Ralph Lauren duster with a blouse and jeans from NYDJ.
There’s nothing quite like a glass of Pinot Noir on the front porch to cap off the night.
Kate learned new makeup techniques at today’s advanced makeup lesson at my new studio spaces in Cabin John. We followed her makeup lesson with a quick photoshoot where she checked out my new digs.
Cabin John is located in southern Montgomery County between the Potomac River and Bethesda near historic Glen Echo.
Hi everyone! My new makeup studio in Cabin John, Maryland, is ready, and I absolutely love it! I saw clients Saturday and Sunday in it, and we just had a blast.
On Saturday, I led a makeup lesson for two trans-women in a demonstration format. I applied makeup to my face, and they copied my technique with my feedback. After that, I took photos of them in our front living room and on the back deck and stairs. So fun! If you’re interested in a session with a friend, just let me know what you’re looking for and I’ll help you choose the best package
My Sunday client has been to see me several times over the past year, and she was ready to meet some other girls in the community. So after her Total Makeover and photoshoot, my wife, Giselle, and I hosted an “outing” experience at our place with three friends for a small cocktail party. If you’re a repeat client and want to meet other girls, let me know and I can arrange an outing on the town or in-home.
Here are photos of my new makeup studio. Watch for my wardrobe and photography studio pics in a later post.
Photographer Will Haubert and I share a love of the glamour and sensuality of Old Hollywood. We created these images together in my Alexandria makeover and photography studio. Enjoy!
