Erica Fremont explores Georgetown with me in preparation for Allison Hannon’s adventure in DC. We learned that even though the canal looks pretty that it’s not really that fun to walk on it in cute shoes. Next time, we are starting at the top of Book Hill and walking downhill rather than starting at K St and walk uphill. And after all that walking, we needed wine! Farmers Fishers Bakers was just the ticket with delicious food and wine at reasonable prices.

Erica and Beth are off to explore Georgetown.
“Beth, dirt paths are really not what I had in mind. The canal is cute and all… But can we go shopping now?”
Rent the Runway. Who knew they had physical stores in addition to online?
Erica shows us the alley to Kafe Leopald’s.
And now to look into the window of Erica’s favorite store, Forever 21. Now she looks happy.
Woo hoo! No more dirt plus Erica’s favorite store!
Hmm… There’s one thing missing from this equation. Wine!
Erica and Beth head down to the Washington Harbor for dinner and drinks at Farmers, Fishers, Bakers. Wine is on its way!
Cool fountain! Now about that wine, Beth…
Here’s our restaurant of choice. The wine selection and prices are terrific!
Now to wander the waterfront.
Time to flirt! Werk it, girl!
The Key Bridge illuminates the water.
