Some people ease into a photoshoot. Connie arrived at my MtF transformation studio in Takoma Park, Maryland near Washington, DC already in full strut mode. In her early twenties and completely at ease in front of the camera, she worked through six outfit changes in her four-hour crossdresser makeover and photoshoot. She mixed looks from her own wardrobe with pieces from mine, and her spirited posing made every single one her own.
For her makeup, I created a gray smokey eye with black eyeliner above and below the eye, paired with a peachy-pink lip — a versatile combination that gave her a polished, slightly edgy look that held up beautifully across all six outfits. Her blonde wig is from my studio collection.
Six Outfits, One Makeover Session
Red Dress
Connie kicked off her photoshoot in a red dress from my wardrobe, flashing a wide, confident smile that set the tone for everything that followed.
Little Black Dress — Round One
Next she slipped into a classic black dress from my wardrobe, which gave her plenty of room to play. She worked through several different energies in this look — standing tall with her hands framing her figure, dropping into a crouching cat pose that showed off exactly how comfortable she is in heels, and arching back for a more dramatic shot.
Coral Top and Black Miniskirt
Connie changed into a coral top from my wardrobe, cinched with a silver belt to show off her curves, and paired it with a black miniskirt of her own.
Blue Halter Dress
She then pulled on a blue halter-top dress by G by Guess from my wardrobe — a club-ready look that suited her energy perfectly.
Chevron Miniskirt and Navy Bodysuit
For her fifth look, Connie brought her own chevron print miniskirt and paired it with my navy Guess bodysuit. She stepped toward the camera with her hands on her hips.
The Final Look
She wrapped up the session in a little black dress from her own collection — a strong finish.
