Many trans women, crossdressers, and femme genderfluid people dream of showing off their sexy lingerie in a fantasy feminization makeover and photoshoot. I’d love to make your dream come true at my MtF transformation and photo studio near Washington, DC. Show off your sensuality, curves, and details of your outfit: lace, satin, stockings, garter belts, bras, bustiers, corsets, baby dolls, teddies, ensembles, dressing robes, and heels. Lingerie and boudoir sessions give you the opportunity to celebrate your femininity, favorite lingerie, and personal expression in photos that feel like you.

A sexy crossdresser, Misty confidently wears a babydoll lingerie outfit for her boudoir crossdresesr photos with Elizabeth Taylor. Her lingerie photoshoot features a babydoll, panties, garter belt, and stockings. She is lying on a beige fainting couch with a fluffy, white blanket looking up at the camera.
Misty chose a traditional boudoir pose coupled with high key lighting so that she could have posing flexibility.

A Typical Lingerie and Boudoir Makeover and Photo Session

After you arrive, we will take a look through your outfits, review your inspiration photos, and decide what we want to shoot and in what order. Some women prefer to slip into their first lingerie look right away; others prefer to wear a satin robe while I apply their makeup from my MAC makeup kit. We can choose a wig and heels from my collection or yours. I also have black underbust corsets, black bras, breast forms, and nearly opaque nude and black tights that we can pair with your look if desired. I have a limited number of breast plates available as my go-to looks involve breast forms, so please bring your own if you’re planning on a breast plate. It typically takes about 2.5 hours for the consultation, makeup application, and wardrobing to get ready for our photoshoot.

After your mirror reveal, we will walk into the adjacent photo studio where you have many options for how to show off your lingerie and figure. Many girls prefer to stand or sit in the center of the studio to showcase their lingerie ensemble. For a more romantic look, a chaise lounge with gauzy fabric creates a soft, dreamy feel. A twin bed with a purple or white comforter and optional fluffy pillows gives the option for a range of sitting and lying poses. Sheer netting hung from the ceiling creates a soft, bedroom-like scene when draped behind the bed or chaise lounge. It also creates a more dramatic effect when you pose behind it or push through it. I can light the white studio wall with colored strobe lights such as pink if desired. I also have a full-length mirror, which we can use for poses that show off both front and back of your look at the same time.

Leaning against a white wall in the final shot, Devyn showcased her curves in a striking blue bra and matching strappy panties. Devyn is an Asian sexy crossdresser. She got her makeover and photoshoot at Makeovers with Elizabeth Taylor near Washington, DC.
Devyn prefers high-key lingerie shots that showcase her entire outfit and allow her to pose fluidly. She prefers standing and sitting poses rather than reclined ones.

Lingerie Shoots and Boudoir Sessions for Crossdressers and Trans Women near Washington, DC

Most clients choose what I call a lingerie-style photoshoot rather than a boudoir-style shoot.

A lingerie shoot puts the clothing front and center. The goal is showing off your outfits and your body in full detail: the lace of the bra, the back seam of the stockings, the way a garter belt frames a silhouette, the cut of your panties. It is sensual, confident, and primarily about the garments. Many of these photos are full-length or half-length and use bright studio strobes for high-key lighting that allows you to freely move around. For these shots, your entire figure and outfit are sharp with no soft focus areas. Lingerie catalogs and websites can offer good inspiration for this style.

A boudoir session is less common and takes a different approach. Rather than centering the outfit, boudoir photography centers the body, often with a shallow depth of field so that your face or a particular feature is sharp while everything around it falls into soft focus. Boudoir can be shot with studio strobes or with natural light, depending on the mood you are after and the time of day. A high-key setup gives you more freedom to move and works well for first-timers. Low-key, dramatic boudoir is more stylized, takes some time to set up, and requires holding positions precisely in the low levels of focused light. Low-key boudoir tends to attract clients who are comfortable posing for photos and have a specific aesthetic in mind, as well as those who want to shape the light to flatter their figure in a particular way. Searching Google for boudoir photography will show examples of this style.

Giselle is lying down on a purple pillow and is lit with Rembrandt lighting. The fill light is shadowy giving a low-key look to her trans boudoir photograph that she had taken near Washington, DC at Makeovers with Elizabeth Taylor. She wears a stainless steel pendant. She has red hair with bangs covering her forehead. She is not wearing any makeup. Her shirt is a white, sleeveless v-neck, which shows off chest surface piercings.
Giselle opted for a low-key lighting setup for her boudoir shot, inspired by the lady of the lake. She posed perfectly still so that we could get the perfect Rembrandt triangle of light on her face.

Some sessions blend elements of both styles, and inspiration images are one of the best ways to figure out what that might look like for you.

Elizabeth Taylor wears a vintage-inspired red and black bra and panty lingerie set. She has long, dark blonde, straight hair, ivory skin, and no makeup. She is lying on a bed with a white comforter, white frilly pillow, and purple pillow behind her with gauzy fabric. The pink-lit wall is behind that. She rests on her bent right arm and her left arm is extended. Her legs are bent behind her. Her cleavage is visible in the demi bra. She looks up expectantly toward the camera. Inspiration Images and Posing

Whether you are drawn to a lingerie shoot or a boudoir approach, sending inspiration photos in advance is strongly encouraged. The more I know about what you are picturing before you arrive, the better I can plan the lighting and posing setups. This is especially true for low-key lighting, which requires more precise planning and takes more time to get right. I give posing guidance throughout the session. Practicing your favorite poses from your inspiration photos beforehand is also a great way to discover which positions feel natural and comfortable for you.

What to Bring for a Lingerie or Boudoir Photoshoot

Most clients bring their own lingerie for these shoots, as fit, style, and personal comfort are key. I also have some lingerie pieces in sizes medium to 4X. After the initial 2.5-hour makeover, we can typically shoot one to two looks per hour depending on the complexity of your lingerie. If you have lots of straps to fasten and get just right, then it can take 30 minutes to change outfits and 30 minutes or more to shoot depending on how many poses and setups you want.

I stock nearly opaque tights in nude and black in the studio. Everything else — stockings, thigh-highs, sheer tights, garter belts — you will need to bring yourself. The right pair of stockings can make or break a lingerie look, so do not forget them. Bring an extra pair or two, as these can easily snag.

If you wear a breast plate with your lingerie, bring it along so we can capture your perfect look. I do not offer photo editing services, so be prepared to edit out your own breast plate lines after the shoot if you plan to wear one. If you use a tucking kit, arrive with it in place to save time. Tucking kits can also require editing if you decide to wear sheer or barely-there panties. You can see how Devyn and Misty each styled their lingerie sessions in the portfolio below.

Luna opted for black-and-white photos in high-key light. This setup allowed her to move around fluidly. The black-and-white photos lent a boudoir style feel to lingerie photos.

Your photos, both RAW and JPEGs, are yours to keep and use as you wish.
