Rachel, her friend CA, and I had the time of our lives with a “Babes Night Out” after her makeover and photoshoot. We enjoyed dinner and drinks at Motorkat in downtown Takoma Park, Maryland. We told stories, laughed, and basked in Rachel’s glow of happiness. Rachel had such a good time that she and CA took an Uber to Freddie’s Beach Bar in Arlington, Virginia to continue the party late night!

“Beth had me at ‘Hello, Rachel.’ She was absolutely genuine. This was my second time dressing and first outing. It could not have been better. I felt beautiful and at ease. I had my friend CA with me, and she was amazed at my transformation and happiness in being Rachel. They both embraced me as my true self. Being out was liberating and I knew I would visit Beth again and enjoy being happy.”

Rachel’s Makeover and Photoshoot
Rachel and CA arrived by Uber, planning for a late night out on the town. Rachel brought her own wardrobe including a long-sleeve, gold sweater; a black skirt; black pants; black tights; and sensible black boots. At CA’s urging, Rachel chose the skirt over the pants while selecting a strawberry-blonde wig from my collection and a pair of black pumps. For makeup, Rachel wanted something classic, sophisticated, and age-appropriate. I suggested a classic red lipstick and soft brown eyeshadows.
After Rachel’s makeover, she opted for photos before our outing. CA snagged red and pink heels from my collection for Rachel to try on, knowing that she loves those colors. After the shoot, Rachel changed back into her boots and I drove us to Motorkat for Rachel’s first time out as herself.
Babes Night Out
Rachel looked natural and in her element at Motorkat. Over dinner and drinks, she told us about her experiences as Rachel and the joy she felt being her true self. We snapped selfies and laughed over girl talk. As we finished our dessert, Rachel and CA decided to continue the Babes Night Out with a trip to Freddie’s Beach Bar in Northern Virginia.
