Roxanne Miller loves classic rock so much that she named herself after The Police song, “Roxanne.” She plays electric guitar and awed the Keystone Conference ladies with her karaoke skills. It’s no surprise then that she channeled her inner rock star for this shoot with me at Keystone 2015. Makeup and Photography by Elizabeth Anne Taylor.

Gina wanted to learn tips for her daily makeup routine and add a few images to her social media. Since Gina values simplicity, we used two creme eyeshadows to minimize blending time and a black eyeshadow as a simple eyeliner. We reviewed other techniques including concealer, foundation, blush and bronzer application, and Gina left with printed guidance including her formulas and colors. Check out her girl-next-door look below.
I met Susan and Jude at the Keystone Conference 2014 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This summer, Susan asked me to take a professional portrait for her acupuncture business, Tending Chi, based in Maryland, and an updated portrait for Jude’s desk that showed off her naturally long hair. Susan selected light, business-appropriate makeup to make her skin more radiant. Full of positive energy, Susan has a passion for the environment, healthy living, and the transgender community. In fact, she even has a section of her website devoted to transgender care.
Diana made her first trip to The Keystone Conference last month in Harrisburg, PA. On Friday, she got a makeover from me. We used a range of browns and coppers to bring out the blue in her eyes. We used black gel eyeliner and fake eyelashes to add drama that would carry her from afternoon seminars into the evening. She selected Pink Cherié lipstick with a touch of icicle lipgloss for shine. For photos, we used natural light and a bounce flash with a white backdrop. Diana’s favorite photos from our shoot are below.
