Elizabeth Taylor has been providing male-to-female makeovers, fantasy feminization sessions, professional photography, makeup lessons, and accompanied outings en femme at her private studio in the Washington, DC metro area since 2013. Her studio is located in LGBTQ+-friendly Takoma Park, Maryland, just minutes from Washington, DC. As part of client outings, we often go shopping at local and regional malls and stand-alone stores. Crossdresser-Friendly and Transgender-friendly Shopping in DC Metro Area

For shopping in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia area, I have a few clothing and lingerie stores that welcome crossdressers and transgender women. Stores like Macy’s, Nordstrom Rack, DSW, Ulta, and Sephora are also good places to shop.

1. Lotus Blooms in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia
   • This lingerie and upscale sex shop caters to the crossdresser and transgender experience in additional to welcoming cisgender and other LGBTQ+ people. You will feel welcome and seen! They carry lingerie up to 4X.
2. Belle Mode Intimates in Fairfax, Virginia
   • Nicole has been working with crossdressers and transgender women for years. She offers beautiful lingerie for a variety of sizes. They take appointments and walk-ins.
3. Soma (Bethesda, Maryland; Tyson’s Corner, Virginia; Springfield, Virginia; Columbia, Maryland)
   • They welcome people presenting en femme or in boy mode. They offer bras, panties, and lingerie.
4. Night Dreams in College Park, Maryland
   • This sex and kink sex shop offers a variety of spicy adult material that my clients enjoy. It’s conveniently located across from the Hampton Inn in College Park, a great place to stay for your MtF makeover.
5. Torrid (Fairfax, Virginia; Dulles, Virginia; Arundel Mills, Maryland)
   • Plus size chain store for sizes 00X to 5X. They offer welcoming fitting rooms and write your name on the door.
6. Lane Bryant (Kingstowne in Alexandria, Virginia; Sterling, VA; Bowie, Maryland; Columbia, Maryland)
   • Plus size chain store that welcomes crossdressers and trans-women

Create your Feminine Shape with DressTech Shapewear

For silicone hip and butt pads, I use DressTech in my studio. The short hip pads in size large are the most popular ones since they work with shorter dresses and skirts. The short hip pads can be held in place with tight underwear or a gaff plus tights. For more security for adventures out, a spandex short can be added. The long hip pads in large and big girl are great for photos. However, they are heavy so they move out of position more easily than the short hip pads. They must be held in place with a tight spandex short.

For clothing and gown alterations, I use Noemi’s Creations in Falls Church, Virginia. Noemi is by appointment only. She has been working with the transgender, crossdressing, and fetish communities for over a decade.
