Giselle experiences spring anew with a daytime exhibition, er, outing near the National Cathedral. She musters her courage and not only overcomes her fears of emerging during the daylight hours but does it with witnesses. Her delight warms her for hours well after her Titanic moment came over her.
“I will persevere. I will overcome. I will go out in the daylight in public.”
“I feel fabulous! I feel so good!”
“Check out my legs. I could get into these daytime displays.”
“I feel so good. Does life get much better than this?”
“And that Titanic moment just comes over me as I stare off into the setting sun.”
