Lucy sought out a professional business woman look during her total makeover, photoshoot, and outing. She came prepared with her outfit, posing ideas, and sample photos that she wanted to re-create. Lucy’s ideal outing was going for a walk down the street to a local park while I captured photos of her.
Lucy’s Business Woman Look
Lucy arrived well-prepared with a navy blue business suit, white blouse, hosiery, and low pumps. She asked for natural looking makeup with light brown eyeshadows and a neutral, defined lip.
We experimented with wigs to find the looks she was going for. She decided on a deep brunette, Cameron bob in Cappuccino from Rene of Paris for her professional look. She enjoyed a longer hairpiece for her glam outfits, not pictured.
Capturing Lucy’s Professional Image with Photos
For studio photos, Lucy looked professional yet playful. For one image, she reviewed paperwork while sitting on the edge of a couch with her legs crossed at the knee. In another, she leans against a brick wall looking at something or someone in the distance.
After photos in the studio, we strolled down New Hampshire Avenue and through the neighborhood park taking photos during the hour of magic as the evening light faded. She got photos near an old church, a bus stop, on a busy state highway, and on a park bench.
