She cracked my egg. Hard to believe it’s been a year since I had my makeover. I had been dealing with questioning my gender for some years, going to support groups both in person and online. I heard about makeover services and was shocked that there was one just a few miles from me! I booked my appointment, and got new undergarments and a dress online just for the occasion. The morning of, I was so giddy with excitement, I got a ride down in my “boy clothes” and was welcomed in, and we got right to it.

She helped me find a good outfit, wig, jewelry, everything, got me dressed, did my makeup. I loved every bit of being made up. I then saw myself for the first time in the mirror as my true self and was shocked but happy. Elizabeth took many photos, even some with my cap and gown from my recent graduation.

When we were done, she helped me get ready to leave, but not in my boy clothes, but in the dress I had bought to go out into the world. The very next day I came out to my first group, and haven’t looked back. Thank you so much, looking forward to the next one.

Wedding day. As a crossdresser you have dreams of days and one of my dreams was to be a bride on her wedding day. My wife is very supportive and she wore a tux, and we did a reverse wedding day. Elizabeth is phenomenal with her artistic talents with makeup. It was my second session with her. She made me look amazing. We took so many photos from my getting ready outfit to my ball gown dress with my veil. Indoor pictures in her studio and pictures in her beautiful yard. We did all the cute wedding poses, my”husband”and I. Elizabeth helped this girl have her dream wedding. Her photography skills are awesome, and she will send you the photos or give you a SD card. She is a great person and truly makes you comfortable.

Never Too Old! How do you make an obese 75-year-old genetic male with an athletic build look and feel beautiful? Elizabeth Anne Taylor is how! I first visited Beth a few weeks ago for a makeover and photo shoot. To say I was happy with the results would be a complete understatement – Beth performs magic! Her wig and wardrobe suggestions were perfect as was the makeup application. Although I love the old Hollywood glamour look, I’d asked for a nice going-out-to-dinner look and she produced that perfectly! But it wasn’t just a makeover, we spent a lot of time on feminine deportment (I sure need that!) and had a wonderful conversation discussing some very intimate topics – I felt totally comfortable opening up to her. I’ve shown the pictures to nearly a dozen people and every single one of them has been amazed. And that feels really, really nice! What girl doesn’t want to feel beautiful? And Beth gives that opportunity for certain. I will be seeing her again in a couple weeks for a makeover and shopping trip. I’m looking forward to that with gleeful anticipation!

Makeup Lesson. My makeup lesson yesterday with Beth was all I could have ever asked for. She pays great attention to detail and really helped me with the proper techniques on how to apply my own makeup. I had the time of my life today with Elizabeth! After having an enjoyable first session with Elizabeth last month, I have felt more like my true self, more like Amanda, more than ever, over these past few weeks. So, I decided, I would truly like to let Amanda live, and experience the real world. I scheduled a Total Makeover w/ Mini Photoshoot & Outing — 5 hrs, and made plans with Elizabeth for us to get mani-pedis and have a nice dinner.

As soon as I told Beth of the plans that I wanted, she immediately set forth in scheduling the manicures and pedicures. Amanda was so nervous, once the day came, but Beth made sure that Amanda was comfortable, and was ready to present to the outside world. After another amazing transformation in Elizabeth’s studio, and an exquisite photo shoot (including very professional headshots of Amanda), it was time. And the time could not have been more enjoyable! There were no worries. Beth made Amanda look so beautiful with the transformation, that there were no comments from anyone at either place of business, or on the street. It was just a day of two friends (Amanda and Beth), having great fun, great girl talk, and pampering each other together!

Starting with the mani-pedis, I had made the decision that I would like Beth to pick my colors. She completed a very thorough process to ensure that Amanda had the best and most complete look, and I ended up with brilliant blue-green on my toenails, as well as,, glowing purple glamour on my fingernails. At the dinner, she was able to use her amazing photo artistry skills to showcase the innate beauty, of the results of the manicure and pedicure, through wonderful, uplifting conversation, as well as, cell phone pictures of the final manicure job. I was never wanting for anything, at either business, as Elizabeth made sure that every need was met, in communication with those in service. This made me even more comfortable, as I did have initial nerves about communicating with others during the outing.

I love that Elizabeth’s top priority is never herself, but always putting her client first. She is always watching over every detail from those you interact with during the outing to ensure that your time, in the real world, goes perfectly!

I live around six hours away from Beth’s studio, and I have utilized her services, twice, in just over a month. I had initial concerns about my presentation, since I am obese at 5’8″ and 300 pounds. Her transformation services completely erased those fears, as she made me into an absolutely fabulous woman! I had concerns about taking that fabulous woman into the real world, but as I have detailed here, Elizabeth’s attention to detail in personal service, completely erased those insecurities! Please, do not let any reason stand in your way of being the beautiful woman that you are inside, and utilizing Elizabeth’s services! She will change your life, as she has mine!

After a full day of realizing my fantasies in real-life, all I can say is, “Wow! Elizabeth is amazing!” But, I feel like I need to say much more! For pretty much my whole life, I have had three fantasies, all revolving around Forced Femme. I wanted to be forced to dress and play as a little girl, to live as an adult woman, and to clean as a sissy-maid. Elizabeth made all of these fantasies real-life in just one eight-hour fantasy session! (The time absolutely flew by, as well! We were having so much fun!) She took amazing care in every facet from communication on every detail prior to our session, to ensuring that everything was on-point during the session! She even honored me by giving the girl name of Amanda (Mandy, for my role-play, as a little girl.) a name that has deep personal significance to her. During my time in Elizabeth’s studio, I absolutely felt 100% that I was living as Amanda. Elizabeth is so nice, and she makes you feel so comfortable, that she completely transforms your mindset. You forget about everything else in the world, and you live as that woman, for the time that you have with Elizabeth. I haven’t mentioned yet that I am obese at 5’8″, 300lbs. Not exactly your most beautiful body type. Elizabeth took me straight-on as a client, with no worries, and transformed me beautifully in every scenario! The pictures she took in every scenario were absolutely stunning, and I will cherish them for a lifetime! She provided everything that I asked for (including some BDSM components), in every scenario! I can not say enough about how amazing Elizabeth is! Elizabeth is kind, caring and wants to bring out the best in you. As this is my first time I was uncertain and unsure about the specific makeover menu item that made sense for my needs. She was responsive to my queries prior to the appointment as I was uncertain even on the day of the appointment. I arrived at time and she greeted me at the door. She then proceeded to put me at ease and led me to her studio. She has an extensive collection of everything that you need to transform yourself. She then proceeded to take some measurements and then used the appropriate shapewear to give the curves that you need to feel feminine. That transformation by itself was educational. She then proceeded to do the face make-up which was thorough and her skills in transforming the face were evident. Along the time she also made notes that she shared with me. She also selected a wig that not only completed my transformation but also transformed me in an ethnic sense. All the time we conversed about a wide variety of topics such as cycling, her experiences in the military and her educational background. I had a great time and cannot thank her enough for the way she treated me.

Elizabeth impacted my life yesterday. She made me feel beautiful both inside and outside. My wife and daughter were there bringing their endless love and support with them as I continue my journey validating the feminine soul I’ve carried for almost 70 years. Elizabeth welcomed us all.

I recently had the privilege of experiencing a 4-hour Total Makeover with Elizabeth Taylor. This was my first time allowing my feminine self to fully express outwardly and I can honestly say it was a deeply therapeutic and empowering experience.

From the moment I walked into Beth’s studio, her patience, understanding and enthusiasm put me completely at ease. This was my first exploration into my femininity. Beth was the perfect guide, helping me decide on the final look and crafting it with such care and expertise.

The conversation flowed easily throughout the session, her joy for her work was infectious and made the entire process feel like a journey we were embarking on together, rather than a service I was availing.

The moment of reveal was nothing short of powerful. Looking into the mirror, I saw a breathtaking image of femininity reflecting back at me. It was an emotional overload, one that brought tears to my eyes. It felt like I was finally allowing the feminine energy within me to radiate outwardly.

This experience was not only a makeover, but a heartwarming pampering session that did wonders for my spirit. I wholeheartedly recommend Elizabeth’s services to anyone ready to embrace their femininity. Her understanding, expertise, and genuine love for her work are truly unique.

11/10. My experience with Elizabeth is honestly one I will remember for a very long time. I walked with very vague instructions (make me look cute, and also maybe try to replicate this TikTok) and Elizabeth absolutely smashed my expectations. Elizabeth did a wonderful job walking through with me what she was doing, and I left feeling fantastic, with both the confidence to be outside in girl mode as well as the confidence that I could start making my own first steps into doing my own makeup.

I have been visiting Beth for a number of years now. She never disappoints. She has crafted several different looks; each one has amazed me. She is sweet and encouraging and has pushed me out of my comfort zone to take on new experiences and I will be eternally grateful for that. On my recent visit, she even convinced me to try a lingerie shoot. The results are incredible, I adore her and consider her a friend. And can’t recommend her highly enough but not so highly she becomes even more popular and I can’t get a booking 😉 xxx

To all,

I was going to my first conference, but have no makeup skills yet. Elizabeth was highly recommended to me by friends that have had makeovers with her before. And they were spot on. From my first step into here home, such a warm welcoming. To the last step out, where she is making sure you have everything. Nothing but genuine enthusiasm and kindness was shown by this talented person. I was as nervous as one could be. But the moment I finally got to see myself fully made over. Wow what a feeling. She’s really good at what she does because I have a big ol block of a male head. And after she was done with me I was pretty.

But thats only step one. Then you get to your event and all of the girls gush and compliment you. Just wow. It’s such an affirming and beautiful experience. I will always recommend her to anyone that can make it there. Counting the days till I can return to that chair for good conversation, tunes, and a pretty face.

First, forget about the makeover, Beth is a great individual. Her experience in life is extensive. Her navy service, a Bachelor and Master degree recipient and the topper is she worked in an Associate degree to hone her photography skills. Conversation with her is interesting and sometimes challenging. She has much to say and is quite knowledgeable in life, cycling, hiking, service, and the hard sciences. Seldom will you find an individual as well rounded and as interesting. I received a makeover, short photo session, and went to dinner. I had a great time discussing what to wear. She calmly suggested improvements in my fashion choices, suggestions I was glad to accept. We enjoyed a fine dinner at a nice Mediterranean restaurant which was very good. All her work is high quality but she is an individual you will want to consider as making you a better individual because you made her acquaintance. Rachael

I do not always use a MO artist, but when I do in WDC, Beth is my top choice. Since 2017, I’ve been an enthusiastic client. Beth does more than an excellent MO. She’s smart, easy to talk to, and has a generous heart with an open mind. Sitting in her chair is like going on a vacation without traveling. Once done, I reliably feel refreshed and relaxed, but energized at the same time. Wow! Thank you for another great Makeover Beth! You are an artist without equal. Your skill makes me look and feel 10 years younger and unfathomably more beautiful. I decidedly to be bold and go to a club as the Goth redhead you created. I’ve never felt so confident as having been hit on by multiple people and even having my dinner and drinks paid for by strangers. It was my own little Cinderella evening ^_^

Makeup lesson with Elizabeth Taylor. Where do I begin?
Firstly, a wonderful experience. Beth details each step wonderfully, she does one half (of my face) , I did the other. I had no idea there were so many steps, colors, cosmetics, brushes !!!! And how to hold the brush, how to apply the product. Beth was patent, explained the what and why of each process and the motion for applying the product.
She let me practice, corrected, let me practice.
Even though I make this sound like an ordeal, (it wasn’t !!!!) I left with many notes (4 pages) created by Beth, colors listed, blushes used, I feel that I could a halfway decent copy of her creation.
Ladies, practice will make perfect. Don’t be shy, just do it, you know you been thinking about it. After 3hours I left feeling empowered and looking wonderful, and I did half of it.
The front door closed behind me, I was out in the world!

Girls, and I mean you… I visited for the first time last week. I had the 3hour session, just right, two full wardrobe changes, makeup, plenty of time for photos, never felt rushed.
Beth has everything you need.
Ask and she finds. It felt so natural and comfortable. Very safe environment.
Words can not express the experience, the photos can. She provides the pictures on a SD card.
I had not been out dressed in 20year s– yes really, I had so much confidence that I left Beth’s and headed to Freddie’s. Such a rush.
Don’t wait & don’t wonder – really just do it.

  Still holds true – its so very hard to add to the other positive reviews. All i can say is, if you doubt, don’t, just turn up, Beth will do the rest…. now ive been there twice (cant wait for my next time!)..
  I leave dressed and full of confidence to concur the world. And, don’t get me wrong, i’m not one of those annoyingly petite girls that just look so fem. I’m 6’4″ + heels – yes i wear heels because if you’re going to do it, do it right..

I had an absolutely wonderful time with Beth. Her talent is miraculous. We spent 6 hours together and she is absolutely the BEST. After my total transformation, she took me out in public (my first time) for lunch and drinks at a popular trans-friendly diner, we had a great time, i could not have done it on my own. A wonderful experience. Definitely worth the travel and traffic of the DMV area. Make sure to plan for adequate time, time will fly before you know it. A quiet and discrete neighborhood. If it is your first time, it is all right to be nervous no matter what your orientation or what you identify as. Ms. Taylor is open-minded, patient, and understanding. She is very talented and will help you achieve the look you desire and customize to your preferences. No matter what body or face dimensions you have, she will work her magic and be the miracle worker. The session was a lot more than I expected. Not only fun but memorable experience. Especially with the photos, you will receive on a memory card if you do photos, you will look back on them and realize the person you were prior to coming to her studio was in the rearview mirror. Even when your transformation is not complete but in the intermediate phases. When the transformation is done and you see yourself in the mirror, you will be in wondrous awe and feel as though you just won a beauty pageant. Should definitely return whenever in the DMV area, might even move to the area someday. You truly are a gem. Thank you so much, Ms. Taylor.

Beth made me feel very comfortable and did a great job of making me over (loved the look). Toward the end of our fantasy session she helped me get into a fun role playing mode (loved that too). It was fun being sassy to her and getting put back into my place! Overall a great experience and I already have so ideas for my next visit.

There are not enough words in the English language to describe my most memorable day with Beth yesterday! This was my third visit to see Beth for a makeover and photo session. I was very excited for my third session and I expected yesterday’s visit to be similar to the previous two. However, Beth took my experience to a whole new level and I am still floating on cloud nine this morning.

She is an expert in makeup and wardrobe design and when I got the chance to look in the mirror and see her work, I just stood there in a magical trance with the biggest smile on my face. I jokingly said something like, “I wish I could go out so others could see what you’ve created” and she came back with, “well, why don’t we?” I shrugged it off at first because my nervous anxiety level hit an all-time high at the thought of going out in public, but she told me all about her community and the LGBT-friendly restaurants, bars, and shops in the area. After about an hour, I worked up the courage to accept her suggestion and we headed out the front door.

She took me to a place called The Republic in Takoma Park and the people and environment there could not have been more inviting and welcoming. I thought I would hide out in a dark corner table, but instead, we grabbed two stools at the bar and enjoyed some nice wine over the next couple hours. Everyone there, to include both the staff and the customers, treated me just as “normal” as if I were there as a guy in my usual clothes. I was truly treated as a lady the entire evening and ended up chatting it up with a few other folks at the restaurant. It was an absolutely amazing experience that Beth provided for me and I hope her other clients will consider doing the same. I can’t wait to go back and do it again!

I just had another makeover with Beth. She is great. She has recently brought some new dresses that I just adore and they fit me great. So after arriving it was so quick to pick out what to wear. She again worked her makeup magic and turn me into a beautiful lady. She used pink on me this evening. After she finished giving me a sexy pink lip it was off to take some photos. Beth is a natural behind the camera. She knows how to help a girl feel so girly. I can’t wait to schedule another visit with her.

I hope we all realize how lucky we are to have Beth in our midst, I used to have to travel to Vermont, Massachusetts and other long distance destinations to become a woman. I could only get away 4-5 times a year but with Beth so close, it WILL be much more often. Also, not all salons offer the “going out” option she offers, we are truly blessed for her presence! I am so looking forward to adventures as a woman with Beth. BUT I save the best for last. Her makeup skills are some of the best I have ever experienced! ( I have been to 18 salons over the last 20 years.) They are just so pretty, feminine and lady like and she can customize for any look you are looking for. DO yourself and become a lady with Beth’s help, you won’t regret it!!

I really want to let everyone know what a great person, makeup artist, lifestyle coach, support person Beth is. I recently visited Beth in her new studio for a day of makeup lessons as well as time for a shopping trip en femme. The day was a ‘customized’ day created with a few back and forth conversations that included lessons, wardrobe/sizing consultation and a shopping trip for makeup and other items as time allowed. I added a second visit the following morning for a critique and correction to the makeup application I performed the following morning. This was prior to a trip to the Smithsonian museums, and memorials and eventually a flight home to the Austin Area.

Having recently loosing my supportive wife of 37 years, retiring and relocating to the Austin Texas area I find that I am a great number of cross roads in my life. Mary was supportive but had no desire for me to leave the house. Through all these changes I confided to Miranda my daughter about who I am. She was 100% supportive and wanted to go out and about with me. I am a previous client of Beth and I turned to her again for makeup lessons. I mentioned this to Miranda and she wanted to go with me for support.

We flew in from Austin and arrived at Beth’s studio at our appointed time. After a few moments of chitchat and looking through items I brought with me I got dressed in a mix of my and Beth’s clothing for the lesson. We discussed the look I was going for and the image I wanted project. Beth reviewed my complexion, my late summer tan lines and color pallets that may work. Beth worked on the right side of my face going into great detail on brush used, the intent of the makeup application and technique. I then mirrored her work on the left. We went as slow as required for me to successfully apply each step of makeup. I found Beth to be more than patient and willing to work with me on areas where I struggled. The lesson with a complete set of instructions and listing of cosmetics along with the brushes needed for each area of the face. We then drove over to Tysons Corner Shops for our shopping trip.

I was a bundle of nerves as we walking into Nordstroms. It was my first time out in a very public place. Both Beth and Miranda were support and before we crossed through the store my confidence jumped significantly. We purchased the cosmetics, making a couple pallet changed due to inventory issues and discontinuation of some shades. We then cruised the mall and hit the stores this plus sized girl needed to shop at. We went to Spanx and tried on and purchased a couple items. We also visited Soma for a bra fitting and I grabbed a couple of bras. I never realized how accepting shop staff were and how much easier it is to find clothing if you first try it on. We returned to the studio and I returned the few intimates I was wearing and in place put on my own. Then with a great suggestion from Beth Miranda and I went to Republic for a late dinner. Apparently Maryland requires carding in bars so when asked the waitress looked at the ID and said thank you ma’am.

The next morning I applied my full makeup for the first time. Beth guessed it would take two hours and she was correct. After getting dressed we check out of our hotel and made our way to the studio. Beth was very supportive in her critique and let me know that any correction required was in the last 2% of technique and is not required for casual meetings of people. We spent about an hour going over the few items she spotted and the corrections were simple with a couple corrections being created when I cleaned up a couple mistakes earlier. We had time for a few photos and hugged and said our goodbyes. We were on our own for the day and return trip.

We Ubered to one of the Smithsonian museums and stood on line for a few moments. The guard checking handbags handed my purse back and thanked me for attending with Ma’am. There was one middle school field trip in the museum and I was fretting getting called out but no one said anything. From there we walked the Mall to the Lincoln Memorial on a somewhat windy day. This caused me to continually mess with my wig. Miranda suggested I head to a wig store this week to get a scarf or something for windy days.

We purchased a meal in the kiosk near the Lincoln Memorial and we were greeted with ladies by the cashier. After a leisurely meal we Ubered back to the studio, picked up the rental and drove to BWI. It was an hour earlier than planned but we were both tired. I checked my bag at the Southwest counter and again was called ma’am as I checked my bag. TSA was a real breeze for me as I am TSA Pre Check cleared; no body scanner for most in that line. The ID checker was nice. He never really looked at my face but thanked me as ma’am. Likewise for the waitress in the airport restaurant she was happy to serve us and always referred to us in female terms. I was always greeting as a female the rest of the day by the parking lot attendant and even the late night grocery store checker who saw me after 15 hours dressed en femme. I know many folks knew my secret through the day but I kept my calm and poise throughout and am ecstatic to know that I can leave the house with confidence.

Sorry, this was long but I wanted to give a little color to my “Beth does great” review. I returned to Beth knowing that there are folks in the greater Austin area who perform similar functions. However, most locals only offer a small piece of Beth’s services so you would be in the hands of 2-4 people to get the experience I had in one day. Beth is truly supportive of the cross gendered population. She is active in helping us find our way in a maze of mixed emotion and complications.

Wow. What an intense, surreal experience.

I consider myself an occasional cross dresser, firmly in the closet. I had never worn make up or a wig. I was not even aware of transformation services until I stumbled upon Beth’s website. I was incredibly nervous to try my first transformation. However, Beth was very welcoming and a true professional. I was rather clueless, but she guided me through the entire process. Breast forms, shoes, nylons, dress, jewelry. And of course, the make up and wig. Wow.

But more importantly we shared three hours of tremendous conversation. I am very shy but she made me feel comfortable enough to talk about my fantasies and kinks. It was a very fulfilling experience.

As promised, I entered Beth’s home in the closet, and left the same way. Her professionalism is very much appreciated.

If a transformation is something you have long fantasized about, I would recommend Beth to exceed your expectations.

As this was my first time having a makeover, I didn’t know what to expect. From the moment we arrived, my partner and I were given a warm welcome in a comforting environment. I knew we had made the right choice. I had come seeking not only a makeover, to boost my confidence in beginning my transition, but to get information on local resources, such as HRT, hair removal, wig advice and support groups. Beth not only pointed me to a local doctor, she picked up her phone and made an appointment for me right then and there! She also gave great advice on local hair removal and wig care services. She was very accommodating in tailoring my experience to my particular needs. Her knowledge and genuine care for trans individuals was impressive. I left with a smile on my face and a renewed hope in continuing my journey.

Incredible experience. My friend and I had a terrific time. I had not seriously dressed in over fifteen years and was very rusty and learned a lot in a very short time. Elizabeth is a great instructor and an enthusiastic and accomplished photographer. She continued to inspire me during a long photo shoot with three wardrobe changes. I am very happy I went.

This was my first Make Over and I was very nervous. Beth’s calme my fears with her soothing voice and she told me every thing she was doing. Her skill is beyond words; as she brings the beauty that has always been there out of you.

Beth is amazing. She provided an incredible fantasy feminization session that was over and above all my expectations. In the fantasy, Beth was my madam and was preparing me for my first day working at a brothel. When she was done dolling me up, I couldn’t believe the girl in the mirror. I never knew a slightly overweight middle aged man could be turned into such a firecracker. It was such a strange feeling to desire the person in the mirror. Believe me that Beth has the skills to turn you into your dream girl.

After admiring myself for a long time in the mirror, Beth took me lingerie shopping. I’d need some sexy lingerie to entertain my “clients” that evening. She had called the lingerie store the day before to make sure they would be comfortable with a trans girl shopping there and trying on lingerie. I was very grateful for Beth’s attention to detail here because it helped put me mind at ease that we wouldn’t have an awkward experience. Beth helped me try on several pieces of lingerie taking a few snapshots along the way. We decided on a pink and white satin teddy trimmed with lace. Perfect for a sissy to lose her virginity 🙂

We had to stop for gas on the way back, but Beth was super nice and added time at the end to compensate for the task. I didn’t mind though, because she had me go out and pump it. It let me have another little audience to parade my short leather skirt, off shoulder blouse, and high heels. We made it back to Beth’s studio with some time to take some more pictures which I’ll treasure forever.

Looking forward to seeing Beth again!

In the past 18 months, I’ve had dozens of makeovers by as many artists. although I’ve never had a bad experience, there are some I eagerly return to and Beth is certainly one of those. With more than six makeovers that always include photoshoots and usually outings, I can recommend her to ANYONE, from first-timers to highly experienced, for a pleasant and magical experience. Yes, I enjoy talking to Beth- and obviously bright and balanced person, but her radiant positive energy is what’s most appealing. With Beth in mind I can honestly say, a bad day with a makeover – is waaay better than a good day without one. As Arnie said “I’ll be back….”

I think Beth is one of the great supporters of our community! I had a complete make-over and photo shoot with her this past weekend and could not be more pleased. Professional, poised and flawless execution were the keys to the marvelous experience. She made my eyes the centerpiece of a marvelous look. !!!An Amazing Experience!!!

I first visited Elizabeth in early 2014. I think it may have been in January or February. I was quite nervous then and i was a little bit this time as well because my female friend was going to see me as Roxane, too. I felt really comfortable though because Elizabeth has a natural ability to put people at ease and you feel like you are talking to an old friend.

She is an incredibly talented make-up artist and in addition to that she is an fantastic photographer. All of my pictures look absolutely amazing;) My friend joined me for some of the shots too and we both look stunning in the pictures!
I feel a lot more confident and comfortable now and i’m looking to start actually going out as Roxane:) Elizabeth made that possibilty a lot easier because she told me my sizes and wrote them down during the session.

It was an such an incredibly wonderful experience and i can’t wait to go back to see her for some tips with my makeup;)

I was also lucky enough to get a chance to glance through her book too, which i’m hoping to purchase soon:)

I just had my second makeover experience with Beth that I did this week! It was by far the most perfect make-up application and memorable experience. She made me feel comfortable, from the very beginning. When we entered the studio, we talked and she went straight to work. She took the measurements that she needed, she helped me pick the two outfits and heels that I will use for the photoshoot. She then proceeded to help me decide which makeup would fit with the look I was trying to portray. Beth is very knowledge and in tune within the community. She is an expert photographer and gifted in makeup application. During the course of the three hours, she answered every question about the community that I had and what the DC area had to offer. After we were done she let me review the pictures and gave me copies of the pictures.
She then took me out for my first time, completely dressed and with makeup. She took me to Freddie’s Beach Bar, and what experience that was, I have to say I was completely nervous but they where very welcoming from the start. I met a couple ladies and they were friendly and understanding since they knew that it was my first time out.
I want to thank you Beth, you truly created a memorable experience for me. I thank you a thousand times, I personally recommend Beth, if you want a memorable makeover experience.

This is an overdue note of appreciation and endorsement for Beth Taylor and her makeover experience. Over two summer 2015 sessions in Beth’s studio, I experienced my first makeover, first time out and about, and first time strangers seeing me live! What a life changing experience!

Beth is obviously intelligent and a versatile conversationalist. Her focus was always on bringing out the best in me – she intuitively followed my subtle feelings leading to comfort. I was so scared and nervous the first time I was shaking! She quickly got me relaxed and soon excited to try new hair styles and clothes. I loved experimenting even though not everything looked great, that was OK – it was fun! The positive comments others have made mirror my experience so I won’t repeat them. The most important Beth gave me, which I will always remember and appreciate, is the confidence I left with to continue exploring and experiencing. She launched me on a long-awaited journey and I knew I was not alone.

If you are like I was: nervous, scared, questioning whether it was safe, and wondering if the experience and results would be pleasant…..all I can say is that it worked for me.

I plan to see Beth again whether for a makeover or just for advice….hopefully soon.

All of my life I knew I was different…not special, but just different. When I finally came to terms with being myself, I finally felt alive, yet I still felt like something was “still” missing. It had been staring me in the face every time I looked in the mirror…every morning, every evening; it was “him”. Not me, just some man I had become use to looking at all of my life. I never felt whole, never felt complete, never felt…beautiful. Fate, destiny, or pure luck…my life journey brought me to cross paths with Elizabeth Taylor. Before we ever met, we chatted, IM’d, and talked for hours. I got to know her, and she likewise, got to know me. After a short time, I knew that Beth was the one. I felt comfortable with her; I could tell her anything without fear of ridicule, without judgement, and in all confidence. She had become my friend. So when I finally got to meet my friend, it was as if we had known each other a life time. I tell you this because, well…because if you’re looking for just a makeover, there are many…but if you’re looking for that special person who will take the time to care, to listen, and to undertand, well, look no further. She is not just a Makeup Magician, not just an excellent photographer, but rather a strong and beautiful woman, super intelligent and funny, but mostly…a genuine and caring human being. Tell her “your’ story, she’ll listen, tell her your dreams, and she will give everything she has to make them come true! For me, visiting Beth was like going to an adult version of Disney World…may your ride never end, the lines be short, and the memories last forever!!

Just had to share with everyone my second makeover experience with Beth that I did this week! After the most perfect make-up application, she coaxed me into a beautiful blue-white-black colorblock dress and then outdoors to do pics I never thought I could have pulled off in a million years. Check out her site to see her having me work the street corner! 😉 Then, we were off for the night to meet Tracy Lynn and an evening of wine and cheese in Shirlington, my first time out en femme as Kayla in ages.

Most important though, I want to share is that a visit to Makeovers with Elizabeth is so much more than just a professional transformation into a beautiful woman. Beth is not only the master of the make-up brush, but also the camera. She is a photography professional using hi-end equipment and lighting with a knowledge of the camera that is over the top. Most important though is Beth treats every client as a beautiful human being and a friend. To quote Tracy, Beth is most truly an angel put here by God to brighten the day of everyone she comes into contact. 🙂

I did my first makeover with Beth in late April this year. She is amazing! I have done quite a few makeovers, both in traditional ‘cis’ settings like Merle Norman and with transformation artist Jodie Lynn in London and Beth is the best! First, she accommodated my schedule by arranging a special session — even though she had no openings — the evening she was doing finals because she is just that type gal. When I arrived at her place, she immediately put me at ease in her studio. She only had to ask me once if I would like to split a bottle of wine and then the fun began! I am so self-conscious that I could not present well as woman, but Beth consistently assured me that we were all body-positive in her studio. I put myself in her hands and I could not have been more happy with results! I found myself being the sexy and seductive woman I want to be and feel I am within. Beth’s make-up and transformation skills are only topped by her prowess as a photographer. Add to that her welcoming and engaging personality and you have the perfect formula for the perfect makeover!

I had my first makeover with Beth in mid-April 2015, and it was an absolute blast. She is an amazing person, and I felt very comfortable with her starting with our email exchanges leading up to my session with her. I could tell how special Beth is based on the emails, and I truly learned a lot from her just from the three hours or so that I spent with her.

I was absolutely thrilled with the way she made me look. I wanted to do a secretary look, and Beth had the perfect clothing available for me to wear, and I was so amazed at the final results. She is a true artist when it comes to makeup, and knew exactly what to do to maximize the look. I love the pictures, and I have gotten a lot of great feedback on my Flickr page!

I live in the DC area and I am so glad to have found Beth. I can’t wait to book my next photoshoot with her, and there is no question that I will be repeat customer! I truly recommend Beth to anyone in our community who is looking for an understanding and compassionate person to provide guidance and advice.

I had an appointment with Liz this past Saturday for trans pride and she did such an incredible job! I’m new to this and this was my first time going out so I wanted to look my best as to blend in as much as possible. My girlfriend was skeptical that’d I’d pass but after Liz was done my girl was floored. She kept saying how pretty I looked and felt that no one would be able to tell that I was really a man which is defintely a high compliment on her part. We walked the streets of DC for miles that night and I actually had confidence in my new skin, never thought that would be possible.

I absolutely recommend Liz Taylor for anyone that wants to look their best, I can’t imagine anyone better in the business and she’s such a delightful person. I guarantee she’ll make you feel comfortable, relaxed and 100% satisfied with the results…you’ll also learn a great deal, she even prepares very detailed notes so you can do it yourself in the future. I’ve visited Beth many times within the last year. She is so special and so wonderful! On my first visit she made me more beautiful than I ever thought possible, and in each following visit she continues to raise the bar. Last month, after a wonderful makeover session, Beth took me out on the town for photos “out and about” and a wonderful dinner. I never felt more beautiful and more feminine. I passed with ease and felt completely comfortable in my feminine persona.

In every visit Beth has treated me with open kindness and full acceptance. I always feel completely at ease and now view Beth as a personal friend. She has made a huge difference in my poise and confidence as a woman. During a visit Beth goes way beyond just applying makeup – she will help you with your outfits, your presentation, and your overall transition, even if only temporary, to a woman.

WOW!!! Everything Beth advertises on her Web page is spot on. Personality, talent, and especially the ability to put you at ease are just a few of her traits. I wore an outfit that I brought with me while she applied my makeup and wig. We worked togeather to pick out colors and outfits. Looking in the mirror for the first time was just awesome. My lips and eyes were as sexy as I have ever seen them. (I asked for a sexy club come get me look). She delivered perfectly. I had several outfit and wig changes including a very sexy secretary with over the top heels, a little black dress with a sweater pulled below my shoulders, and a biker chicken look with leather skirt, a lycra strapped shirt and little.leather jacket. And I almost forgot the sexy high heel knee length boots and dark red wig. We danced to a pounding club type music and I really felt wonderful. Beth must have taken hundreds of photos. We enjoyed wine and conversation on the balcony. Some workmen walked just below the balcony and I actually wanted them to notice me. Great experience Beth and I can’t wait for another makeover and this time let’s do an outing…..Wendy

I recently had the superb pleasure of meeting Beth and letting her apply her artistry to enable me to discover my feminine nature in a manner I have never had the confidence or skill to do on my own. By nature I am introverted and private. My home and work environments are not supportive. Penelope rarely has the freedom to emerge. An opportunity did present itself for a week in April and, despite significant trepidation, I reached out to Beth to arrange a full day session with her. To be sure this was both terrifying and thrilling for me. My expectation was Beth would get my week off to a grand start, but then it would be just Penelope, depressingly on her own. I could not have been more mistaken and I owe Beth more than words can convey. She is truly fabulous…warm, understanding, inspiring, brilliant, bold, and vibrant.

Immediately upon meeting Beth one perceives there is something magical about her. Her engaging welcome relieves any sense of apprehension. My anxiety quickly faded as I put myself in her capable hands. Appreciating my initial vulnerability and reticence, Beth moved at a pace that Penelope was comfortable with as we transitioned from makeover to photos and then to afternoon tea and clothes shopping in Old Town. Though feminine in appearance, I was, however, still hiding, mimicking behavior, as if I were Beth’s shadow. In one fashionable shop, after Beth picked out a few nice garments, Beth changed my life with two words, “dressing room”. My uneasy protest was put to rest by Beth’s soothing reassurance and Penelope was now really out in the open in front of full length mirrors and attentive staff…and it was exhilarating. Store personnel could not have been nicer and Beth kept the momentum going like we were the best of girlfriends and all was routine. I was giddy and beaming.

Following a change of clothes and some touch up work at Beth’s studio, we were back in Old Town enjoying dinner. I wasn’t a shadow anymore. Penelope was real and alive. Beth facilitates genuine transformations well beyond makeup and clothing.

As my session was coming to a close, Beth invited me to join her (and others) the next night at a Delta-88 (awesome musicians) performance in DC. I could have retreated into my former shell but after my day with Beth, and all of her coaching and encouragement, I was keen to experience more. This led to newfound friendships, another makeover and shopping session with Beth, two visits to Freddies’ (one a Meet-up event), and ultimately uninhibited dancing in heels and an alluring blue dress (thanks to Beth) at another Delta-88 event.

Penelope’s week was tremendous, all due to Beth. I’m immeasurably grateful and sincerely hope there will be future occasions for Beth to charm a smile out of Penelope.

This past Monday evening I had a wonderful makeover and transformation at Elizabeth’s. I has flown in from NYC earlier in the day and showed up at Beth’s place in my navy blue business suit and tie. I left a a couple of hours later in a tight black pencil skirt, a silver and black top and a gorgeous Marc Jacobs leather jacket. I had silver accent jewelry and shoulder length brown with red high lights coifed and flowing hair. Elizabeth had brought out the woman in me and than took out that woman to a fun and quirky LGBT bar for karaoke and cosmopolitans. She was supportive and playful when I had difficulty walking in my sexy calf length pointy toed tight leather and VERY uncomfortable boots and even lent me a pair of her own black flats later on in the night. Her make up artistry, fashion sense, and photography skills are second to none but truly it’s her warm, welcoming, fun personality that made the experience and evening so special. She made me look and feel pretty and feminine and than brought me out so I could be that woman in the real world. The feeling of being referred to as “ladies” and “miss” and “she” by the waiter, the patrons, and others, the click of my heels on the pavement as we walked arm in arm in the streets, glancing down and seeing my feminine shadow, giggling like school girls in the car, and especially the flirty states at me from a few of the gentlemen in the bar are experiences that I will treasure and not soon forget. Elizabeth made the evening memorable and magical and I can’t wait till the next time to see where my femme journey with her will take me.

I had my third makeover with Elizabeth and every time it simply gets better and better. The rapport I felt from the beginning has improved and I believe she knows what suits my female alter ego and what I will like. There is a real connection and it comes from Elizabeth wanting to create a memorable experience. This time with my leather dress she gave me a look I would never have considered but it was dynamic, sexy and convincing and I loved it. I had such a wonderful time. We even rechristened my alter ego to match the new spirit Elizabeth helped create, so Sophie was out and Katherine (Kate) made her appearance. Thank you so much. Next time the make up lesson. I’d love to be able to do more and with your wonderful guidance I can’t wait to take the next step on Katie’s journey. xxx

Last Saturday, I spent about 5 hours with Beth. It was an incredible 5 hours because through the magic of Beth’s artistry and skills, I was transformed from an ugly frog into a beautiful Princess.
Beth was simply amazing. She was patient, gentle, kind, supportive, suggestive, very knowledgeable and most of all fun. She is a wonderful make-up artist and a fantastic photographer. She has a gift when it comes to combining outfits with make-up and wigs, and then making you feel so relaxed and natural when it comes to posing for the photos. In short, Beth is just so incredibly talented. And she is a wonderful person. We chatted like 2 girls in a comfortable and easy-going way as if we’d known each other for years.
If you want to really treat yourself this Christmas, then book a session for yourself with Beth. You will be pampered, made to feel so special, and literally transformed into a beautiful woman.
My new year’s resolution: have more sessions with Beth so that the Gemma in me can shine out and have some more fun!

I identify as trans, am in the very early stages of a “later-in-life” MTF transition, and lately have been obsessing quite a bit about how passable I can be. My own attempts at makeup have been very unsophisticated and ultimately unsatisfying. I was thrilled to find Beth, and decided to go for a lengthy session of makeup lessons, makeover, wardrobe consult, and photo shoot, to see if this would help ease my mind.

What transpired exceeded my wildest imagination. Beth is a warm, welcoming person who really understands T-girls. She has a tremendous gift for hospitality that put me immediately at ease, and I found her studio to be an incredibly safe space that allowed me to really embrace and express my femininity.

The makeover is a truly intimate thing…you sit quite close, facing one another for a couple of hours, as Beth does her magic. I felt extraordinarily comfortable as we shared a little bit of our stories…she’s the first one outside of my therapist who has ever heard this part of mine!

Beth is so encouraging…as she progressed through the stages of the makeover, it was wonderful for me to see how pleased and genuinely excited she was with the results. I was very concerned that my masculine features could not be softened…Beth gave my spirit a lift by observing that my face has a lot of wonderful feminine features, and she did a great job highlighting them.

For the photo shoot, I wasn’t planning on wearing anything too special…I really was wanting to know what the “everyday girl” in me looked like. But all made up, I was feeling so beautiful, and (surprisingly to me) sexy, we both agreed that “hot” would be the order of the day. Beth encouraged me to upsize my breast forms, and together we agreed that a form-fitting LBD, stockings, 5-inch heels, and a stylish-yet-edgy wig were the way to go. We put on some dance music, and the photo shoot turned into an impromptu night at the club…I was feeling my feminine spirit in a way I have only imagined, and just had an incredible time posing for the camera.

At the end of the session, we looked through the photos together. We had the presence of mind to do “before and after” shots, which really gave me a sense of the overall affect…it was profound. Beth’s makeup artistry is such a gift…her work reveals the beauty within, and I was absolutely thrilled with what I saw.

But I have to say, beyond beauty, what I saw in the pictures more than anything was…happiness. I wasn’t expecting that, but it was so plainly evident…to be completely uninhibited, to be able to express the woman within with no reservation, and then to see it reflected in the smile on my face and the sparkle in my eyes…I felt validated. That which I have known, deep in my soul, to be true, was confirmed. The authentic life that I crave seems ever so much more possible.

So, to sum up visit to Beth in a sentence: One of my best days, ever!

Beth, meeting with you was by far the best experience I could have ever dreamed of for my first night out in public as a “fabulous” women. I felt so insanely beautiful and confident even given my height. I indeed found my genie. I am a woman in her fifties that had lost her way with makeup. I was using to same colors and makeup that I had in my 30’s and 40’s. I am not into sitting at a makeup counter in the middle of a store to get a makeover. I have many flaws including pigmentation problems. I made an appointment with Beth. When I walked into her home I felt comfortable right away. We sat down and talked about what I wanted to look like. After talking she got to work. We tried different foundation, eye, blush, and lipstick colors. Then she made up one side of my face and I did the other. The time flew by. When I walked out I felt confident and very happy with my new look. Beth is a beautiful woman inside and out. My experience was awesome. I highly recommend a makeover with Beth if you want a more beautiful you.

I’ve spent over fifty years of my life as what is referred to today as a transgender person (secluded). When I was little I was considered a freak, called a “retard” and spent many years in child psychologist’s offices. When they made me “all better” I spent the next thirty years, sometimes denying but always hiding who I am. Still hidden, I’ve spent the last ten years in counseling learning about my true self and working through the choices I have at this late point in my life and to undo the previous forty years.

Albeit ever so cliché, in one afternoon Beth led me to experience the person who has always lived inside me, the woman I now know I’m able to be. The makeup lesson allowed me to share a weekend with my life partner as this amazing person. Beth even got me outside for the first “real” time to take a couple of photos. Beth is really an amazing, caring, compassionate, and extremely talented person. The worst part of the whole experience … the weekend ended!

My sincerest thanks Beth, please keep “being fabulous!”

I still haven’t figured out whether being a t-girl (CD/TV/TS/TG) is a blessing or a curse. For those of us in the closet like me it is very stressful and leads to continuous internal conflicts. On the other hand the thrill of seeing yourself emerge as a beautiful woman, as Beth is so good at doing, is an unimaginable thrill that only another t-girl can understand.

I just had another makeover with lovely Beth last night. I was absolutely amazed and thrilled with the result! I’ve been seriously dressing for about four years now and this was absolutely the best I’ve ever looked. I’ve been to see Beth several times before, and each time she does it better. Beth is a sweet and intelligent woman who not only can make anyone look incredible, but she is also a fun friend who puts you at easy and turns a makeover into a warm and welcoming visit. I recommend her to any t-girl interested in looking her best. New girls who are just now working up the nerve to come out should see her. I visited Beth for my second makeover. We talked in advance about looks and she had everything planned. While I was being made up i was in a long black and white dress which was simply gorgeous to wear. She took my on to her balcony and it was nice to be out in the open as Sophie. From there it was the highlight of the day which was to dress in a wedding dress. it was a delight. Wonderful to wear, wonderful to walk in and thanks to Beth’s wonderful photography skills I have a wonderful series of photos to remember the day. Just as i thought we were done, Beth suggested a wedding night look and offered me a skimpy nightie for the final set of pictures. My make up was so wonderful, she made a fairly ordinary man a really glamorous and passable girl and the wig was just perfect for my look and my coloring. Add to Beth’s natural empathy and sense of fun. it was a wonderful few hours of escapism. We have talked since – more plans for Sophie and I’m so excited i can’t wait.

I had never had a makeover and was coming into town on business and I saw Elizabeth’s site. I called Elizabeth and asked her about makeovers. She was very nice and explained everything. I came to her studio and she transformed me into a beautiful woman. I looked in the mirror when she was done and was mesmerized on how wonderful job that she did. I was so happy. We then did the photo shoot and I was beaming I was so happy on how the experience was. She then took me to Freddy’s and it was my first time out dressed and everyone there welcomed me and made me feel so comfortable. I had sooooo much fun. If you ever get a chance to have Elizabeth do a makeover for you I would definitely recommend it. Thank you again Elizabeth.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Miss Beth in her home studio, I have been dressing off and on for most of my life and always felt ashamed of it. I only bought bedroom-type items since there was no way I was ever going out in public dressed like a woman. Then a month ago I was contacted by some other girls and went for a visit. This gave me the confidence to look for Miss Elizabeth Taylor. I remembered seeing an ad for her services at some point and finally located her.

I am not exaggerating when I say my visit with her changed the course of my dressing life. I never, ever thought I could be made reasonably passable but I was wrong. She did it. She explained what make-up she was using and why and listened and made me feel sooo comfortable with being a man who wanted to dress and look and act like a woman. I still can’t get over the results.

I actually drove to Freddies, held my breath, and walked up the sidewalk to have brunch there. I had so much more confidence walking back. Thank you Miss Beth.

I have had two makeovers with Beth, and I don’t have enough superlatives to describe the experience, or how she made me look!

Beth really understands trans women and celebrates the diversity and uniqueness of those of us who don’t fit the standard gender binary. She creates a super safe space in which you feel free to embrace your femininity and let the woman inside shine.

For those who have not been out in public yet, or are just starting to explore their feminine sides, a visit to Beth will be a wonderful experience. She is fun, encouraging, has great advice on creating you look, and is completely non-judgemental. She totally respects your privacy and understands that a lot of us are not ready to be “out.” You will learn a lot about how to apply makeup, can buy what you need in privacy, and you will be AMAZED at how pretty you can look. Be prepared to cry a little when you look in the mirror, it can be a moving experience to see the woman you always wanted to look like looking back at you.

If you are an experienced girl, you will have a blast hanging out with Beth, learn a bunch of tips and techniques, and see the latest colors and products to help you look great.

I would also highly recommend her to any cis (non-trans) woman who wants to freshen up her look. If she can achieve such beautiful effects with women with beard shadows, big jaws, and brow ridges, just think what she can do for a woman with out a Y chromosome.

Beth is also a strong champion of the trans community, and she is a very active advocate. She respects all trans people, no matter where you are on the spectrum.

Within minutes of meeting Beth for the first time, I felt like I had a close friend and confidante. She is so much fun to be with!

I can honestly say that a make over with Beth literally has the potential to be a life changing experience.

Last year I visited Beth for the first time wanting to finally come out as Tracy. Women like her are extremely rare and I’m so happy to have met and worked with her. She truly understands who we are and where we are coming from and was simply amazing at making me the feminine woman I was meant to be! She’s fun to work with and I dare you to try not being great friends with her once you leave as it is simply impossible! Knowing and working with Beth was life changing. With a cute blonde wig decked out with pink ribbons in my sissy pigtails, Beth, was the consumate professional. She is engaging, gorgeous, personable and makes everyone feel at ease. I looked like the perfect sissy little girl in my pink satin short dress, ruffled panties, white stockings and 4 inch white baby doll shoes. Her makeup expertise is beauty in action. She is an artist and if anyone ever wants the perfect makeup to look fab, you need to see Beth.

This has been a long time coming but i wanted to leave a review of the wonderful afternoon i spent with Beth. When I arrived she had me pick out some underwear and quickly fitted me into a body shaper and a bra with my boobs in place. She then surprised me by asking me to pick a fancy dress outfit to wear while she did my makeup. I flicked through her lovely selection before opting for something completely out of character but Beth helped me into the gorgeous pink dress and collar and cuffs and lo and behold i was a bunny girl, fulfilling a long held fantasy.

While Beth worked on my makeup we chatted and talked and she got me to open up about some of my experiences and we discussed how things might unfold with her in the future. it was an exciting chat with left me with butterflies in my tummy.

When I was done – she had the bunny girl strike several poses and was very gracious in telling me how lovely i looked. We then made a couple of choices from her wardrope and played dress up for a while.

It was a lovely, lovely time. My drab life doesn;t left me experiment or visit as often as i would like but Beth was so lovely and open and generous that i cannot wait to return.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping me start my new year off the right way! You were so kind and you made me feel so at ease being there for my makeover. You even got me to feel so good about myself as a “woman” that I wore my dress and other things to a special persons house to surprise him, and he was very surprised! Thank you for walking me to my car to make me feel even more at ease!
Now I must say that there were plenty of chances for you to laugh at me, like trying to get that shaper on, but you never did, you rolled with it and made me feel so welcome and comfortable! I absolutely loved the selection of clothes, shoes and wigs that you had.
I look forward to more visits to you for makeovers and hopefully even a night out since you have given me a new found confidence in myself. You are the best!

A note to anyone that is worried about going to get their first makeover, leave your worries and doubts behind you and put on your prettiest panties and sexiest bra and go get the makeover, you will NOT regret it! Elizabeth is the BEST!

I recently enjoyed having my first transformation with Elizabeth and had an amazing time. She was a gracious and entertaining hostess, carefully listened to what I hoped to achieve with my look, and presented me with a lot of exciting options. During the whole process, she explained how to best apply makeup to suit my tastes and gave me helpful tips on how to put together outfits in general.

While it was a very informative learning experience, our whole session had a party vibe to it — we had excellent music playing in the background and I reveled in the moment and danced my heart away as Elizabeth took pictures and/or prepared for the next step in the transformation.

What made my first time even more wonderful was how Elizabeth firmly impressed upon me her commitment to the LGBT and other diverse communities. It’s enheartening to meet individuals determined to empower and celebrate groups that have historically been underrepresented. She’s a remarkable person and I strongly encourage anyone interested enough to see her to do so — you will have an incredible time!

From the moment I first contacted her I felt at ease and knew I had made a good choice in contacting her. Elizabeth was extremely supportive. The day of my scheduled appointment I arrived at her location dressed casually enfemme with no makeup. Elizabeth met me at her door and from that moment I knew I had made a great decision. She spared no time putting me at ease and getting to know me. As we procceded with the total deluxe makeover she explained each and every step and its purpose in helping me look more feminine. By the end of the makeover session I really felt I had learned a lot from her regarding makeup basics. Next came the wardrobe selection for the photo shoot. being I had wanted a seductive “slutty” look Elizabeth helped me pick out the appropriate clothes. Once the look was attained the actual photo shoot began. Being more comfortable behind a camera than in front of one, Elizabeth immediately started putting me at ease and coaching me to get “the look” I wanted to achieve for my photos. As the time progressed and flew by my nervousness evaporated. She helped me to open up. I can not say enough good words about Elizabeth. Her warmth radiates from her and her talent for helping one achieve their look is amazing. I am so grateful to have met Elizabeth. She is an amazing talented individual and I am anxiously looking forward to another session with her to try a different look. I will definitely be back!

From the moment the door opened, Miss Taylor was a delightful, inspirational, intelligent, creative artist and encourager. What a fun time I had dressing, but even more so talking about all things important to me, including issues of gender and sexuality and my own lifelong journey. She is not only a transformation professional; she is also a wise and caring counselor. As Miss Taylor worked her magic, she seemed oblivious to time, unhurried and really present with me, and happy to make me feel and look happy. I was stunned when I finally saw Leanne, seeing a somewhat attractive if aging sexy woman. Never did Miss Taylor imply at all that I might not be the most perfect woman, never did she comment with anything but positive words.

I had planned an outing after dressing but was initially reluctant to do so. With her encouragement, I decided to go for it, so we went out to a club where I was accepted fully, and where I had the time of my life. I even had a guy buy me a drink! Miss Taylor was careful to keep an eye on me, to help me freshen up makeup when necessary, and to simply enjoy being out in a dress and heels.

I will return to see her again. She is wonderful.

Thank you SOOO much for quite possibly one of the best days I’ve ever had! I had such a good time hanging out with you and my wife just being girls and having fun. I think Kimberly has captured in words the best what I and most of us all have felt after a makeover with Beth.

I got to look in the mirror today and truly see Meagan for the first time. It was and still is the most amazing feeling I can think of, and I can’t thank you enough for helping bring it about. Like a lot of girls, I tend to look in the mirror and nitpick the little things that I dislike about my body… but today was different. I looked in the mirror and saw a beautiful woman staring back at me, and truly fell in love with her. This is who I shall always see when I look in the mirror now, and it’s the best feeling.

I can’t wait until I can go back and have another girl’s day with my wife and Beth. Maybe this time you’ll get to come out to lunch with us.

A makeover at the hands of Elizabeth Taylor is more than the foundation creams or eye makeup. It is more than the lipsticks or clothes. For me it was the first time an important part of me felt confident and complete. Long before the brushes ever came out or before the colors began to be applied Beth Taylor had already started working on my transformation. Her enthusiasm and joy immediately set me at ease and reinforced in myself that this was something that I wanted and needed.
As Beth began to work her magic on my exterior I felt years of hidden anguish, frustration, and shame being lifted as we talked about my past, my desires for the future, and most importantly who I thought Kim was. The experience was as spiritually cathartic and the physical transformation was total. I felt and looked pretty. Most importantly I was proud I was pretty. I felt happy, calm, and graceful. These are not traits that are usually associated to someone like me who doggedly works in the daily grind.
Beth worked patiently with my and our time flew by. As I transformed from a scared and nervous drab person into a confident and beautiful woman I began to fully embrace and appreciate this side of myself that I had tried to suppress for so long. Beth effortlessly surrounded me with hope, comfort, compassion, and friendship like a warm blanket on a cold windy day.
What made this experience different was that after the make came off and I returned to my “other” life the feeling of belonging and beauty remained, where in the past a wave of guilt would rush in. I found myself feeling happy and complete, like I had finally found a lost friend. My time with Beth was transformational on such a deep level that it is almost ironic to discuss the superficial aspects of the pampering you get at her hands.
Beth Thank you for the friendship, the kind understanding, and the enthusiasm you generously shared with me and with so many others.

My only regret about that day is that I didn’t take Beth up on her offer to go to lunch while I presented myself as Kerri. I am so very glad that I finally worked up the courage to take a few baby steps outside my long-closeted, off and on, crossdressing and arrange an appointment with Beth. She is simply amazing! Beth’s very skilled at makeup and creating the right combination of clothing, hair, shaping etc. Since this was my first complete makeover, I wanted to make sure I really looked and felt like Diana. After about an hour of putting everything on, and having Beth so thoughtfully explain how she was applying the makeup, it was time for the big reveal. I had intentionally positioned myself so I could not see how I looked at every step in the process. When I nervously walked over to the mirror full made up in my classy sweater/skirt/heels combo I did not quite know what to expect.

Wow!

I cannot accurately describe the feeling. But suffice to say I was amazed, delighted, and moved. Finally seeing on the outside the glamorous girl I had for so long kept hidden on the inside was profound, exciting, and absolutely electric.

None of that would have been possible with just technical skill and an eye for picking out accessories to match an outfit. By far the best thing about Beth is how open, accepting, and affirming she is. I was initially very nervous about sharing a long hidden side of myself with someone else. Her upbeat attitude, infectious enthusiasm, and complete acceptance put me at ease right away. To put it another way: she not only made me look like a beautiful woman, she made me feel like a beautiful woman. The whole experience was fantastic. I highly recommend Beth to anyone looking to see how fabulous they can truly be!

I have seen Beth twice for make overs, the first time in May and the second time this passed Friday (4 October). She is a wonderful artist. She is also generous with her time and passes on all sorts of makeup tips on how to do things for yourself, taking care of your skin, applying makeup and other advice. I found Beth to be a professional that knows her business and provides for a quality product at a reasonable price. I will definitely be seeing Beth again and I am excited to have a person such as Beth in the area. I am writing this to tell you about my time with Beth. Let first tell you that she is an amazing woman. She is the sweetest and kindest person I’ve ever met. I had an awesome time with her.
This was my first time cross dressing and my first time telling and opening up to someone about my cross dressing. I was so nervous when I arrived at her studio. We talked and she explained what the process was of turning me into Jennifer. I started to feel more relaxed. I started to have fun putting on the shape wear, breast forms, bra, panties, stocking and shoes. I tried on different wigs until we found the right one. We picked out this cute black dress and pretty silver jewelry to go with it. As she put on my makeup she explained everything about the makeup. While my makeup was being put on we got to talk. I really opened up to her. I had her add on the fake eyelashes and French tip press on nails. I highly recommend the nails. To me it just finishes the look. When she was all done, I finally got to see myself as Jennifer. I had the biggest smile on my face when I saw myself.:) I can’t even begin to describe how I felt. The only thing I can say is that I felt so pretty.
It was now picture time. We started off on the balcony. I was feeling so relaxed and comfortable as Jennifer and with Beth that we went all the way outside to take pictures with trees in the background. We had a lot of fun taking those pictures. I decided to add on some extra time. I did an outfit change. We picked out this fun skirt and cute top. I also changed shoes, jewelry and put on a different shade of lipstick. We had so much fun taking those pictures. After that we sat down and looked at all the pictures and commented on the ones we liked. Our time was up and I had to go change from Jennifer to my male self.
I’m definitely going back to see her. She had so many great outfits to try on. I also am going back to her for help with makeup, shopping and anything else I need or have to do to become Jennifer. I hope by me telling you about my time will encourage you to see her and I’ll quote Beth “To being fabulous!”

Had a makeover session with the wonderful Beth in late July. I was visiting DC from the UK, and had an afternoon to spare. Beth was simply amazing – everything was very professional, from organising the appointment to making sure every trace of make up was gone before I left. She isn’t just a friendly and fun woman to spend time with she is a fantastic artist and managed to turn a very unattractive, middle aged, fat man, into a lovely lady and had some great advice and tips on make up too.

Beth also really understands our community and the wide spectrum of trans-people, and within seconds you feel comfortable and at home.

I have been to a few makeover services, and Beth is amazing value for such a relaxing, friendly and professional service and I know she is my regular destination every time I am in DC.

All I can say is that I’m beyond blessed and fortunate to have met Beth. Back in early April 2013, I was unable to attend a makeover party that Beth hosted and sent a message with my regrets about not being able to attend on the meetup.com group chat. It was then that Beth offered a one on one makeover session, an offer which I gladly accepted. You see, I had been wanting a makeover for SO long but NEVER had the gumption to go into a makeup store or to the counter at a department store and get a makeover. This was the perfect scenario; a makeover in a private, relaxed setting.

Upon arriving at Beth’s makeover studio, I was warmly and graciously greeted as Kerri and told that I was going to be beautiful at the end of the makeover. Beth’s greeting was confirmation of my thought process through email messages that we had exchanged that she was fun, intelligent AND passionate about making girls beautiful.

I had brought some clothes to change into so that I could be more “Kerri” and then the makeover began. It seemed to take a while and there were a LOT of preparatory steps, especially cleansing of my face, before the color was added to my “canvas”, if you will. It was clear, however, that Beth knew exactly what she was doing and she was very professional. As the color on my eyes began to be applied, Beth was smiling and said that I looked really pretty. When she applied mascara to my lashes Beth said that my eyes, “popped”. Then the lip color, blush and highlight powder were applied and I was finally allowed to look in the mirror and see myself transformed. I cannot even begin to tell you how happy and overcome with positive emotion that I was. The end result was, in my eyes, SO beautiful that I almost cried. The only reason that I didn’t is because it would have ruined an hour and a half of work and an amazing makeover. I felt so radiantly beautiful that I was ready to make my debut as Kerri by walking around Beth’s community which we did. As a matter of fact, after we had walked about twenty feet or so and I felt like I was floating, I mentioned that I was prepared for as long a walk as Beth desired. It was a walk that lasted a good 45 minutes or so and included walking along the main road and not just the interior of her community.

I have attended several makeover parties that Beth has hosted since April and had the blessing of being made over by Beth close to a dozen times. Each time she has perfected my look and made me absolutely beautiful. She has also helped make my skin look younger by presenting products to me that help my skin stay strong and youthful looking. I’ve had the confidence to apply my makeup in the last three months three times and expect that my confidence will continue to grow with Beth’s coaching and enthusiasm.

Suffice it to say, if you are a girl or even a “girl” in the northern Virginia area and have had hesitations about getting a makeover, you can set aside any fears that you won’t look radiantly beautiful after a makeover with Beth. I have seen the before and after results with my own eyes with other “girls” and was was so happy for the “girls” that they were ecstatic with their look. Here’s to looking fabulously beautiful. Beth is such an amazing person. I am a closeted crossdresser and with Beth’s help we were able to shine light on my new persona, Eva.

Admittingly, I was terribly nervous. Nobody, aside from myself, has known that I am an active crossdresser. My back story is very similar to other crossdressers, My knowledge of my feminine self did not extend past what I was able to steal from my older sisters wardrobe. The idea of a makeover seemed very distant. After 4 years without trying on a pair of panties, I decided I needed to revisit my favorite pastime.

What an experience! Even now, the entire experience seems very surreal. I had only dreamed of becoming Eva in the past. Beth is extremely talented. She provides instruction throughout, and it’s very obvious by her amazing smile that she thoroughly enjoys the process. I had never worn heels, much less a wig however she had many to choose from. I was quite surprised at how good I looked. For too long I had always seen myself as a guy in a skirt, today provided me with a new outlook. I can be quite beautiful! Beth is an artist.

We had amazing conversation about a wide range of topics. After getting over the fact that I was dressed as a girl, things lightened up. I did not once question Beth’s sincerity, she is quite dedicated to helping girls like me realize their potential. She mentioned that she has, ‘the best job ever’ because she ‘allows people to fulfill their dreams’. She fulfilled my dreams today, and I am quite certain I will be visiting her again in the future.

This was a very big step for me and Beth made it very easy. She has inspired me, and I will be exploring this side of myself further. Next step: Make-up party with other TG/CD’s. Beth told me all about her events and I am looking forward to attending them!

I just recently had my first makeover with Beth which was also happened to be my first makeover ever. I’ve been dabbling with crossdressing over the years, but wanted to take things to the next level. I was terribly excited and nervous before hand, but eager to learn.

During the 5 hours I spent with her, I could not have felt more comfortable and welcome! I felt at ease in her studio and we started by just chatting and then doing a little show and tell of the items I brought with me. I could tell right away that she was very passionate about her work and crossdressers. We continued chatting throughout and she made me feel very comfortable by understanding my interests and feelings. She taught me a ton about makeup application and can’t wait to try out what I learned. She also had quite a collection of clothes, shoes, wigs, and accessories, so, with a little helpful guidance from Beth, I was able to supplement what I brought with me for a complete makeover.

I was truly amazed by my transformation and was practically giddy with happiness. We only had enough time for a couple outfits and she snapped a bunch of photos while I awkwardly attempted to pose. I had a lot of fun and even got the approval of one of her friends which was a major rush. Originally, I was not planning to wear my things out, as I have never been out in public before while dressed up (except once at night to a fetish club). But, her makeover made me feel confident enough to step out in the open for the first time. What a thrill!

So, I am very grateful that I found such an amazing resource so close to me. I can’t wait to have another session soon and eventually work up enough courage to join one of her outings with the gurls. Beth is a true champion and friend of the LGBT and crossdresser communities!
