Everyone knows Linda Roberts, DC’s 2013 Capital Queer Prom Queen. Why’s that? She’s always out on the town dancing the night away! From Town DanceBoutique and tgirlnation to Echostage and Eighteenth Street Lounge, Linda shows off her dancing moves and high energy level all over the city at LGBT and straight venues alike. Often the first on the dance floor, Linda loves wearing above-the-knee dresses with sensible flats. For eye makeup, we used brown, gold, and neutral eye shadows to bring out her beautiful, blue eyes. For lips, she selected sunset, a pink-coral color, that we topped with a dab of cream and sugar and icicle lip glosses.

Meg came over for a pampering makeover and photo shoot Saturday. We tried a new makeup look and styled her new wig to give a lifted and wispy look to her bangs using styling spray, a wig brush, and fingers. For eyeshadows, we selected browns, golds, and neutrals to make her blue eyes pop. Meg selected a black cherry lipstick that we topped with cream and sugar lip gloss in the center to make her lips fuller and finished with a light layer of icicle lip gloss throughout. Meg is a Washington, DC Metro Area crossdresser who blogs daily about her experiences at “You Can Call Me Meg.”

Leilani had her first makeover ever this week and absolutely loved it! We designed her look for going out from head-to-toe from my wigs and makeup and Leilani’s adventurous clothing and shoes. We loved the second outfit with the thigh high boots, animal print skirt, and see through top with pink bra peeking through. In fact, I encouraged her to embrace her look and go out to Freddie’s Beach Bar dressed in this slutty style instead of her more conservative dress. When we arrived at Freddie’s, the other guests’ responses were immediate and overwhelmingly positive! They loved Leilani’s look so much that they complimented her and requested photographs with her. Now that’s a successful outing to Freddie’s, my favorite neighborhood LGBT bar!

Founder and organizer of DC’s tgirlnation party, Monica Miller pampered herself with her first makeover ever this week! Monica modeled both the Vivica Fox Brie wig and her natural hair, which she’s been growing out. To bring out the green in Monica’s hazel eyes, we used purple eyeshadows for her classic eye look. Monica looks especially sexy in a reclined position showing off her curves and trim, smooth legs.

I got my hair cut last week and colored today at PR at Partners in Shirlington. These two selfies show the same hair cut (different color) styled two ways. I applied basic makeup that I carry in my purse choosing the dramatic firecracker red lipstick for the edgy styling and the wild about pink lip color for my softer look with the magenta and teal lowlights. #ShirlingtonPR
