Roxane shows off her beauty after her first makeover and total transformation ever. Since pink and purple are her favorite colors, she selected a bright pink top, black mini skirt, and black pumps with bows on the back. For makeup, she selected purple eyeshadows on a cream colored base to bring out the green in her hazel eyes and pink lipstick to keep with her desire for a subtle and sexy look.
Janel shows off her look after her first makeover ever. She selected a classic look with copper and gold eyeshadows to compliment her stunning blue eyes along with a soft pink lipstick with a shimmer lipgloss to keep the attention on her eyes. Janel wanted her hair in her face covering one eye for several photos and those were indeed her favorites. She sent me her favorites and posted them on the DC Trans Ladies’ Meetup site for her new profile pics.
Erica loves makeovers! She proudly showed me her book of beautiful photos after makeovers with Amy of Just You in Las Vegas and with me. She’d been eyeing Ema’s look from Raven-17, which featured dramatic blue eye shadows and intense lips, and wanted to wear a similar look to her first-ever tgirlnation party. We did just that. At tgirlnation, Erica enjoyed socializing with several girls while I danced with Destiny, Giselle, Teri, and other girlfriends to Monica’s new dance tunes. Lizzy pampered herself for her birthday with her first makeover and transformation ever! When she looked in the mirror, her beauty surprised her. She said her looks far exceeded her own dreams of what she’d look like as a woman. Happy birthday, Lizzy! To many more girlie birthday celebrations!
Meagan had the time of her life as a flirty, beautiful sailor girl last week. When Meagan saw herself in the mirror and started posing for her girlie photos, she started to smile and didn’t stop even when she left in lunch-appropriate femme attire with her supportive wife. All that smiling came from a girl who says she doesn’t normally smile. Now that’s the power of exploring and expressing who you are.
This weekend I’m off to Jen Bryant’s Raven 17: A Fantastic New World in New Hope, Pennsylvania. It will be my first time attending Raven, and I’ve heard it’s a fabulous party! I’ll be offering makeup makeovers and shape wear fittings in my room at the New Hope Lodge. On my down time, I’m hoping to check out the flourishing art scene in New Hope.
