What services do you offer?

Check out my makeover menu to learn more about my makeup lessons, makeovers, total transformations, fantasy feminization experience, feminine deportment training, shopping, outings, and photography services.

Why do you require a deposit?

My time is valuable, and I have far fewer appointment cancellations when I have a deposit. The deposit is non-refundable, but you may reschedule using the same deposit as long as you give me a heads up at least 48 hours before your appointment.

How far in advance do I need to book?

I accept bookings up to 24 hours in advance but prefer a week’s notice. Sometimes my schedule is booked out three weeks or more in advance and thus you would need to book a month in advance to get the date and time you’re looking for. Fridays and Saturdays routinely book up weeks in advance. For special events such as Keystone Conference, I suggest booking as soon as you know you will be attending as I booked up a year in advance for Keystone for the 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 years.

What are my options for a deposit?

Using a credit or debit card is the default method for making your deposit when you book online. If you’re not comfortable with making a deposit on my booking website, you can book with a money order via postal mail. To book with a money order, please confirm appointment availability online & with me and then send the USPS money order with tracking info to the address I provide you by email.

Send me the tracking info. After I confirm the tracking info, I’ll book the appointment for you at my end. You’ll receive a confirmation email with my exact address and further details. Be sure to include your female name and the date and time of your appointment.

Where are you located, and how do I get there?

I operate out of my home studio in Takoma Park, MD, near New Hampshire Ave at East-West Highway. Since this is my home, please don’t stop by without an appointment. Free, unlimited street parking is available, and I have secure, indoor bicycle parking. My Takoma Park studio is located about 1 mile from the Takoma Park Metro Red Line stop.

What are your hours?

For my current hours and real-time availability, visit my booking website at http://makeoverswithelizabethtaylor.fullslate.com. My hours change throughout the year.

I’m nervous about my identity being revealed. How can I ensure my privacy?

I am very private about my clients’ identities and do not disclose your personal information. If you arrive closeted and want to stay that way, then I want you to leave just as closeted. You keep all original photos from your session as provided on an SD card, and I keep none unless you decide to sign a model release. I’m very thorough with teaching you how to remove your makeup and giving you an inspection to ensure you don’t have any visible makeup remaining. You may further limit your exposure by taking advantage of my deposit via USPS money order and snail mail–just include a note with your girl name and appointment date and time.

How did you get interested in the trans-women community? Why did you start your makeover business?

I had a friend come out to me as a crossdresser, and it was super fun! I fully transformed him into her and took her out for Halloween for her first time out as a girl ever! I was hooked and started hanging out with CD/TG women at Freddie’s Beach Bar, the local Meetup, and tgirlnation. After seeing the photos of my friend’s transformation, people started asking me to do their makeup, dressing, MtF transformations, and photos so I started my makeover business in March of 2013. I started with a few basics and taking photos with people’s cell phones and my digital camera. I soon decided I wanted to take my photography to the next level and enrolled in the photography program at NOVA using my GI Bill, completing my degree coursework in December 2015. I’ve now been working with trans-women and crossdressers for ten years, and I absolutely love it!

I want to know more about you. What did you do before you started working with transgender women?

Oh, okay. That’s not nearly so much fun as what I do now. But since you asked, here’s a short professional bio. And here’s my LinkedIn profile if you’re really wanting to learn about my work experience.

Commissioned in October 2001, Elizabeth Taylor served eleven years in the US Navy after earning her B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics. She separated honorably as a Lieutenant from active duty in January 2013. During her four years at Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, SC, she taught hundreds of students the theoretical principles of nuclear-powered propulsion, preparing them for prototype and the fleet. She completed a M.S. in Human Systems Integration and Joint Professional Military Education, Phase 1, at Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. As a Human Resources Officer, she managed the administration and training of thousands of Navy Drilling Reservists for two years at Navy Operational Support Center Norfolk and hundreds of Drilling Army Reservists at a DoD agency in Washington, DC. In 2012, she graduated from Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute (DEOMI) and managed the Military Equal Opportunity Management program while embedded with the civilian Equal Opportunity program. Her personal awards include a Navy Commendation Medal and a Navy Achievement Medal.

Shortly after leaving active duty, Elizabeth started her makeover and photography business catering to transgender women. She self-studied makeup artistry online at the Robert Jones Beauty Academy and through hands-on experience. She used the Post-9/11 GI Bill to earn her A.A.S in Photography and Media from Northern Virginia Community College in December 2015. She is a Level 1 Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) through the Society of Wine Educators, and a former Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Is our significant other able to tag along? Would that cost extra? If so how much?

      Hi Joshua,

Absolutely! There’s no additional cost. Just make a note in the comments section when you all book so I can plan for 2 guests. I hope to see you both soon!

      To being fabulous!
