Join me at the 18th Annual Human Rights Campaign National Dinner!

12 Aug

Show off your finest evening gown while representing the transgender and allied community at this fundraising dinner for Human Rights Campaign, a leading LGBT advocacy and equal-rights group based in DC. I’ve attended the past two years and absolutely loved the diversity of guests, the speaker lineup, and the pageantry of the evening.

Last year, a mid-20s transgender woman, Sarah McBride, stole the show when she shared her story of publicly coming out while serving as the student body president at American University. Until then, Sarah had presented as her gender assigned at birth, male. Sarah now advocates for LGBT equality full-time at the Center for American Progress. Check out HRC’s website,, to learn about their victories and continued work for equality.

This year, I’ve signed up a table captain with a goal to fill 12 seats at my table, and I would love to have you join us. This dinner is the largest single event to raise funds to support this LGBT-equality work. Tickets to the National Dinner usually sell out in the mid-summer, so please let me know as soon as possible if you’ll be able to join me. Tickets are $375 per person ($275 for active duty military) and you can purchase them through or by calling Box Office Tickets at 800-494-8497. Please make sure to select me, Makeovers with Elizabeth Taylor, as your table captain during the check-out process either online or on the phone so we can all sit together.

Together we will make a difference in the lives of our friends, families, and communities.

To being fabulous!

Elizabeth Taylor

P.S. And don’t forget to arrive on-time at 5 p.m. for networking and showing off your gowns at the cocktail hour! Plan to stay for the official after-party sponsored by Abercrombie & Fitch. Any ideas for an after-after-party? 😉

Elizabeth (Beth) Taylor specializes in total makeovers, feminization, and photography for MtF crossdressers and transgender women and has transformed over 300 girls. Beth loves working with first-timers and helping them embrace their femininity and beauty, grow their confidence, and get involved in the online and in-person trans-women communities.
